In support of digitally endangered languages
The Open Schools Program - Cambodia is a joint initiative of the the Open Institute and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Royal Government of Cambodia to use Information and Communication technology (ICT) to improve the quality of education.
The project develops ICT curricula and textbooks, training also ICT teachers in schools, in order to provide students with computer skills that they will need in their professional life. It also uses ICT to try to improve the quality of education that the students receive in other areas. To coordinate all this work, the project is developing the 2009-2013 Master Plan for ICT in Education for the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
